Welcome to DataSpace! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using DataSpace, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
1. Platform Overview
DataSpace is a data platform where users can upload, process, and analyze their data by running their code. The platform is provided "as is" and is currently under development.
2. User Responsibilities
As a user of DataSpace, you agree to the following:
- You will not use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
- You are responsible for the security of the code and data you upload to the platform.
- You will not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or otherwise misuse the platform.
3. Account Management
You must create an account to use DataSpace. We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or Delete Accounts: If we detect inappropriate or harmful use, we may suspend or delete your account at our discretion.
- Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
4. Payment and Licensing
- License: DataSpace is provided on a yearly license basis. Upon payment, you will be granted access to the platform for 12 months.
- Renewal: Licenses will not auto-renew. You will be notified prior to your license's expiration to manually renew.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for licenses, except as required by law.
5. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
- Swiss Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Zürich, Switzerland.
6. Limitation of Liability
DataSpace is a product in development and is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Loss of data, profits, or revenue, regardless of the cause.
You acknowledge that you are using DataSpace at your own risk, and we are not liable for any errors, bugs, or performance issues that may arise during your use.
7. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes, and your continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
